Know the symptoms, push for diagnosis.

46% of NET patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage.

The incidence of neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) is STILL on the rise and symptom awareness is key to earlier diagnosis and ultimately better outcomes. It’s more common than brain, ovarian and cervical cancer, yet misdiagnosis is STILL common, and we need your help to change these statistics.

This NET Cancer Day, let’s join together with the public and health services to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of NETs to encourage earlier diagnosis.

World NET Cancer Day is an annual event held on the 10th of November, created to increase awareness of Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) and to provide a voice to the NET community for improved diagnostics, treatments, information, care and research. World NET Cancer Day is about drawing attention to this uncommon form of cancer and starting a global conversation amongst communities, medical professionals and governments.

NET is an area that is close to our heart at SAM Nordic, therefore we want to raise awareness of the interesting events during the day.

On the home ground, the local patient organisations are hosting events in each country. For more information about these events, click on each country.
