Spring is always busy and this year was no exception. We attended the Nuclear Medicine Spring meetings in Sweden, Norway and Finland where we met up with customers.
Erik Normann Andersen and Gustav Widar attended the Norwegian Nuclear Medicine Society Spring Meeting in Trondheim. The days in Trondheim focused on the future of Theragnostics.
Ranan Agha and Elin Sergi-Lindell went to the Swedish Nuclear Society Spring Meeting in Gothenburg. PSMA lectures and conversations with old and new acquaintances are some of their favourite insights from their days there.
The Finnish Nuclear Medicine Spring Meeting took place in Helsinki and Tuomas Suikki attended. Focus on new prostate cancer treatments and interesting presentations from e.g., Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg (UKHD) and their research on up-and-coming diagnostic tracers.
Last but not least, the opening of Telix Pharmaceuticals’ new European radiopharmaceutical production facility in Belgium was a real treat. This facility will serve as Telix’s primary site for radioisotopes to patients in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Given the complexity of just-in-time manufacturing and logistics of theragnostic drugs, better supply closer to Northern Europe is essential to ensure patient needs can be met. Especially for us, living far up in the North.
Next week, on October 15-19, 2022, the 35th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, EANM’22, takes place in Barcelona, Spain!
Several people from our team are going to be there, including our CEO, Isabell Ahlén, and CBO, Tuomas Suikki as well as our new Commercial Manager, Hanna Westlinder, and her team of Customer Success Managers.
Make sure you take a tour around the foyer to visit our podcast booth. Every day from Saturday to Tuesday, our Medical Affairs Manager Gustav Widar will record a new episode of the Theragnostic Talks podcast in the studio from the congress. We invited thirteen prominent guests among the speakers to guide us in the exciting field of Nuclear Medicine and how it makes a difference to patients in the long run.
